Celebrating Women's History Month with Soho House

UPLIFTING WOMEN IN HOSPITALITY THROUGH A CURATED PANEL DISCUSSION & ELEVATED FARMER’S MARKET.

In celebration of Women’s History Month, we developed the theme “Cultivating Community and Culture through Food and Drink,” as well as the concept of a panel discussion and elevated farmer’s market to engage Soho House members in the San Francisco Bay Area. We handled research, selection and outreach of all panelists and venues. The panel featured five outstanding & inspirational women in the F&B space. Cori Tahara of @michaelminasf was our moderator, joined by speakers, Buffy Maguire of @ladyfalconcoffeeclub, Nite Yun of @nyumbai, Imana of Hi Felicia, and Jen Yoo of Michelin-starred, @ositosf_.

But it didn’t stop there. Following the panel discussion, we asked 8 talented women founders, all local to the Bay, to join in and share their small businesses with us in an elevated farmer’s market experience. And all of it was held in Ciel Creative Space, a woman-founded space. And every vendor & partner (catering, dj, a/v, the photo booth experience, photographer, etc.) was also woman-founded or led.

Every aspect was meticulously and intentionally curated & crafted. It was a labor of absolute love. And a huge success. 🥹
